"Diff's Lucky Day" Remaster Set for Release on 12/1 [U: $25 coupon]
Update 12/2/2025 - If you purchased a copy of "Diff's Lucky Day" at one of the recent shows, Allswell Records is offering those fans a $25 coupon due to the lower $75 price of the vinyl. Click here for more.

After 26 years, Lifehouse's demo released under their original name Blyss (formerly Bliss) is finally getting the official release it deserves! Jason announced yesterday on Instagram that there will be a very limited vinyl release of the newly remastered edition of Diff's Lucky Day.

First released in 1999 as the demo to 2000's No Name Face, several tracks were re-recorded on their debut ("Unknown", "Trying", "Breathing", and "Somewhere in Between"), some released as bonus tracks on the UK/Japan release or as b-sides to their singles. The only tracks that haven't been released in some fashion are my personal favorite, "Crown of Scars", "Mudpie", and "Revolution Cry".

Curiously enough, "Revolution Cry" is missing from the track list on the vinyl release. Hopefully this was just an error and the track appears on the vinyl still. If you were lucky enough to attend one of the Lifehouse's Best of Acoustic shows recently, you might already have been able to snag a copy for the steep price of $100. If you managed to snag a copy already, head over to the forum and let us know if "Revolution Cry" made the final cut!

The first 5 remastered tracks are available today on the Time Machine for members only ($12/mo as of this writing).
